How to Start a New Quick Guide

You must be a registered member of STWiki to create and edit content. First read TheWelcomeWagon, and then sign up on the UserRegistration page.

Select a descriptive title for your quick quide, following these rules:

• The title must begin with a capital letter.
• Run all of the words together, and start each new word with a capital letter.
• The title must end with QuickGuide.
• Examples: SquidlyRidingQuickGuide, FarklingQuickGuide

Locate the box in the upper-right corner of the page with the word Jump in it.

Type the title for your quick guide there and press Enter.

You will be taken to a page that says the topic does not exist. If the topic does exist, you will be taken to that topic.

Near the bottom of the page is a link that says Create 'SquidlyRidingQuickGuide' (or whatever your title was). Click this link.

On the next page, set the Use template pulldown to QuickGuideTemplate and click Create this topic.

Edit the text in the box.

You can click Preview to see how the page will look or Save to save it.
