Standard Programming for the KenwoodTK350
TK-350(G) Channel Groups
The memories on this radio are arranged in ten groups of 16. The first five groups have been set up to emulate the channel layouts on various popular radios. For example, if you want to talk to someone with a cheap GMRS/FRS hybrid on his channel 12, you would select group
01
and dial up channel
HY12
. Channel 7 on a TK-3101 would be on group
04
, channel
TK 7
. The frequencies and cross-reference for these layouts can be found in
RadioReference.
The following groups are part of the standard load. The
Prefix column in the table indicates what the first two characters on the display will show for a particular group.

(For example, if the display on the TK-350 shows 1609 , you would dial in channel 16 , PL tone 9 on a hybrid.) The 16th channel is labeled ST-O for use by members of ST-Owners.com and uses channel 4, PL tone 25 and has transmit locked out if the channel is in use. |
